Dr. Shagufta Showkat is an academician. She is an Associate Professor of Business Administration. Her primary areas of teaching are Human Resource Development, Marketing, Research Methodology. She has worked in some prominent engineering colleges of Bangalore.
Her professional experience include working as a staff member in the M.B.A Department and primary responsibilities include teaching, research, counselling, organizing conferences and seminars. She regularly speaks on the Human Resource Development practices at the local and national collegiate conferences.
Dr. Shagufta has a Master’s degree in Human Resource Development and Marketing, and a Ph.D in Human Resource Development. Her academic research has explored the various aspects of performance appraisal systems in the public sector banks in India. She has published her research work in various national and international journals.
